XY-1 Engineering Geological Drilling Rig Characteristic
(1) It has a hydraulic automatic feeding structure to improve the drilling efficiency and reduce the labor intensity of workers.
(2) The ball clamp clamping mechanism is used to replace the chuck, which can reverse the rod without stopping the machine, which is convenient, safe and reliable.

Drilling Rig Exploration Method
This is a survey method to find out the underground geological conditions. It can be divided into: (1) geophysical exploration: lithology, groundwater level, karst cave distribution, etc. are divided according to the conductivity, magnetism, density and the propagation speed of elastic wave in different underground strata and media (water, cavity, rock, etc.). Guide drilling. (2) Drilling: combined with pit (groove) exploration. 3) penetration: it is both an exploration method and an in-situ test method.
Soil Sampling Procedure
Divide the field into different homogeneous units based on the visual observation and farmer’s experience.
Remove the surface litter at the sampling spot.
Drive the auger to a plough depth of 15 cm and draw the soil sample.
Collect at least 10 to 15 samples from each sampling unit and place in a bucket or tray.
If auger is not available, make a ‘V’ shaped cut to a depth of 15 cm in the sampling spot using spade.
Remove thick slices of soil from top to bottom of exposed face of the ‘V’ shaped cut and place in a clean container.
